The Happenings in Ms. Alex's class

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was sick all week and was out of the classroom on Thursday and Friday to get the bug out of my system. I feel much better this week, which is a great way to start of a new week. Below is what we are doing in class this week.

US History- This week we are finishing up watching the film "Of Mice and Men". We are starting our next unit over the New Deal and how FDR tries to get America out of the Depression.

Geography- This week we are wrapping up our SPRITE activity and getting ready to test over the Geography of the United States and Canada.

Current Events- This week we are finishing the film "Deepwater Horizon". We will be discussing the film and completing a writing prompt analyzing the event.
