YAY! First update on what is happening in Ms. Alex's social studies classroom.
US History- This week we finish our video series over the technology introduced in World War 1 with Underwater Killers aka submarines. We will then start our WWI project showing what we have learned over the unit. Students will have two options of a project to complete- a timeline or collage. This project will take a few class periods to complete.
Geography- This week we have been preparing for our test. Students filled out study guides and then played "Geography" (Bingo) to help review the key concepts to know for the test.
Current Events- This week we have focused on the highlights from the Superbowl game and commercials. We are also tracking what is going on in politics as President Trump's cabinet is getting confirmed.
